Are you dentist? Is it possible that my bone collapsed so much? That I have contortion in my cheek bone? Or is it infection?
I clean around the implant with waterpik and small brushes now, so it feels better, but the ridge is still there...

From your description, it appears the implant was improperly placed and became infected. Failure of implants has more to do with good work and a solid boney foundation than allergic reactions to the materials. Zirconia is sometimes used instead of titanium because of cosmetic concerns and metal blocking energy/ acupuncture meridians in the face. I am not aware of specific allergic history but the Clifford blood test can confirm if you are. Ask your physician to perform that test. If a bone graft was used with the implant, that is usually animals such as bovine or human cadaver tissue, which you certainly can have reaction to. The RNA pixels from animals is supposedly denatured but I have doubts and always suggest harvesting your own bone from another site on the palate. This is more work for the surgeon and adds some to the cost, but like a blood transfusion is the only truly safe tissue. Removable bridges work well, especially BPA free Valplast no metal brand. Unfortunately, dentist just want to put implants in every space. Contact the holistic dental association for a referral near you.
